Facebook Discriminates Against Deaf The Deaf communicate differently than hearing. I have used technology (hearing aids, and now the internet) my whole life to connect with people. Imagine if my hearing aid company could remotely turn off my hearing aid because I was trying to be friends with someone I didn’t know.
